I made this dairy free creamy sage and lemon sauce for over my ravioli last night however it’s great as a general pasta sauce or over chicken which you then bake for around 30 minutes. Another idea would be to have it with a baked sweet potato as they go well with the taste of lemon and sage.
The gluten free ravioli I had was stuffed with pumpkin and by Ugo Thrive, if you see it in the shops then it’s worth getting. I’ve had it a few times now and I really enjoy it, plus it takes a minute to cook! So between a minute for the ravioli and 5 minutes for the sauce you are onto a winner if you want a super quick and easy dinner! Again, pumpkin works well flavour wise with sage and lemon, hence the sauce combo.
Only a few ingredients and 5 mins to make.
Dairy Free Creamy Sage And Lemon Sauce Ingredients…
- 2 tbsp’s of dairy free natural yoghurt (I used coyo)
- 1/2 tbsp of olive oil
- 1/2 tbsp of sage, roughly chopped/or dried
- Juice of 1 lemon
- This is the super easy bit… place all the ingredients into a small pan and gently heat at a low temperature on your hob for about 5 mins or until warm right through. As easy as that and ready to used in what ever way you choose.
